1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to identify our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without crashing into them, and was able to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rugs.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but it will differ based on how much you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested to not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also features a unique mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction if necessary. You can also mark off areas you want to keep out of the app.
